The 17^th meeting of the National Commission of Ukraine for UNESCO took place in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine as the Format Meeting of the Heads of the thematic sectors i.e. culture and cultural heritage; education; science; natural heritage; youth policy; information and communication.

The meeting eventuated under the chairmanship of First Deputy Minister for Culture of Ukraine, First Deputy Head of the National Commission of Ukraine for UNESCO – Head of sector of culture and cultural heritage Mr. Ihor Likhovyi.

The members of the National Commission discussed the agenda of the meeting, particularly the issues regarding the implementation of the National Commission’s Working Plan for 2015; the state of the preparation of Ukraine’s delegation for the participation in the 39^th session of the World Heritage Commission (June, 28 – July, 8, 2015, Bonn, Germany); thematic filling of the second issue of Informational Bulletin of the National Commission of Ukraine for UNESCO.
