On 19 August 2015, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Sergiy Kyslytsya received United Nations Resident Coordinator, Humanitarian Coordinator, UNDP Resident Representative in Ukraine Neal Walker.

The sides discussed the topical issues of Ukraine-UN cooperation, particularly the UN role in supporting the recovery and reconstruction in the Donbas region as well as the UN humanitarian assistance for the affected people.

S.Kyslytsya expressed concern over the decision of the so-called “DNR” and “LNR ” regarding registration of all aid agencies operating in the area, which in fact has blocked since mid-July the delivery of UN humanitarian cargoes to the occupied territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
