First Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Nataliia Galibarenko received the copies of credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Judith Gough

During the meeting N.Galibarenko and J.Gough discussed the situation in the East of Ukraine stressing upon importance of implementation of the Minsk agreements by the Russian Federation.

Nataliia Galibarenko expressed gratitude for the consistent support of our country by the UK Government, particularly in the context of providing non-lethal military assistance, deployment of British military instructors to Ukraine, as well as treatment of the wounded Ukrainian soldiers.

Judith Gough assured that British policy towards Ukraine will not change, including as regards the sanctions imposed against the Russian Federation, as well as support of internal reforms implemented in our country.

The parties also exchanged views on important issues of Ukrainian-British cooperation and agreed on the importance of political contacts at the high and highest levels.
