Within the regular round of political consultations in the "Visegrad Group + Ukraine" format the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Nataliia Galibarenko met the state secretaries of the ministries of foreign affairs of the V4 participating countries.
The focus of the meeting was on the modalities of cooperation of Ukraine and the Visegrad Group in political and sectoral dimensions and also on issues related to the European integration of Ukraine.
The participants discussed the schedule of the upcoming “V4+Ukraine”sectoral events, particularly the conference on the reform of higher education to be held on October 13, 2015 in Chernivtsi.
The sides also exchanged views on liberalization of the EU-Ukraine visa regime and domestic reforms in Ukraine.
The Visegrad Four was represented by Jaroslav Ludva (on behalf of the Czech Presidency in the V4), István Mikola (Hungary), Konrad Pawlik (the Republic of Poland) and Igor Slobodník (the Slovak Republic).
