Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin met with U.S. State Department’s Coordinator for Sanctions Policy Daniel Fried.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on further implementation the U.S. sanctions policy against Russia and coordination of sanctions pressure with the EU. They discussed an opportunity to reinforce existing sanctions pressure on Russia in case if Russia further violates Minsk agreements or continues escalation in Donbas region.

Special attention was devoted to the development of a common long-term strategy for Crimea.
