During the meeting N.Galibarenko and Ch. Sheehan discussed European integration topics, including practical issues of implementation of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU.

N.Galibarenko noted that the Free Trade Area Agreement between Ukraine and the EU will take effect on January 1, 2016. In this regard, the sides stressed that no third party can require amendments to the document and have veto right on its future implementation.

Discussing visa liberalization issues, attention of the Irish side was invited to the need to improve the existing practice of issuing visas to citizens of Ukraine, especially for students.
