On November 8, 2015, the Embassy of Ukraine in Finland hosted the regional meeting of Ukrainian consular officers accredited in several North-European, Baltic and Central European countries.

During the meeting the Minister emphasized the current tasks of the Ukrainian diplomatic service in the context of stabilization of situation in the east of Ukraine, deterring Russian aggression, and discussed possibilities to increase efficiency of national Consular Service, first and for most with regard to the protection of rights and interests of the Ukrainian citizens abroad.

Such a meeting was chaired by Ukrainian Foreign Minister for the first time, and, upon the initiative of Mr. Klimkin, had a format of interactive discussion  to achieve maximum results.
