It was discussed during the meetings of the First Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine N.Galibarenko with the State Minister of Georgia on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration D.Bakradze, Advisor to the President of Georgia, Secretary of Foreign Relations T.Pkhaladze and Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Georgia G.Gigiadze, held in Tbilisi on November 9.
Interlocutors also focused on Ukrainian-Georgian cooperation in the field of European integration, internal situation and security issues in both countries.
The sides emphasized a high level of cooperation in all spheres of bilateral agenda. It was agreed to maintain active political dialogue and to hold the next meeting of the Joint Ukrainian-Georgian intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation in 2016.
The Georgian side congratulated Ukraine on its election as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council for 2016-2017 and expressed readiness to continue close cooperation in the framework of the UN and other international organizations.
