On October 4, 2010 in Kyiv the Ukrainian-Russian consultations on security issues at Deputy Minister Level took place. The Ukrainian delegation was headed by the Deputy Minister Pavlo Klimkin and the Russian delegation - by the Deputy Minister Aleksandr Grushko.

During the consultations the Parties exchanged views on a wide range of issues, including enhancement of the European security architecture, the Russian initiative on European Security Treaty, interaction within the OSCE, cooperation in the framework Ukraine-EU and Russia-EU as well as Ukraine-NATO and Russia-NATO formats.
