During the meeting Sergiy Kyslytsya accepted the credentials of the newly appointed UNHCR Representative in Ukraine Pablo Mateu. 

Both sides noted with appreciation the cooperation between Ukraine and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.

Sergiy Kyslytsya emphasized an important role of the UNHCR Office in Kyiv in supporting the Government’s efforts, aimed at addressing the internal displacement in Ukraine against the backdrop of the Russian aggression and strengthening the protection of refugees and asylum seekers arriving in Ukraine.

Both sides have agreed to promote further fruitful cooperation.
