The parties discussed the state of ensuring human rights, particularly in the context on temporary occupation by the Russian Federation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and ongoing armed aggression of the Russian Federation in Donbass. Sergii Kyslytsya stressed the necessity and importance to fix by the international organization all facts of violation of human rights in the certain regions of Ukraine, which are under control Russian-backed militants and Russian armed forces. It was also emphasized, that the issue of access of international human rights organizations to temporary occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea is unresolved.
Fiona Frazer have informed about parameters of the Mission’s work in Ukraine, including in Donetsk and Luhansk regions. The discussion also focused on the preparation of the next report of the OHCHR.
