The Sides discussed the current state and perspectives of the Ukrainian-Vietnamese relations in political, economic, trade and economic spheres, as well as development of the bilateral legal basis.

Particular attention was paid to the intensification of political dialogue and exchange of visits.

The Sides discussed preparation for the next session of Joint Ukrainian-Vietnamese intergovernmental Commission on trade, economic, scientific and technical cooperation planed for 2016.

During the meeting necessity of continuing fruitful cooperation within the framework of international organizations and first of all in the UN was stressed.

Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine emphasized willingness of our state as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council to maintain an active dialogue and consultations with the Vietnamese side on urgent issues of the global agenda.
