An informational project “TOP-5 news about Crimea” was presented at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine on the 9th of February. This is the first initiative aimed to systematically publicize Crimean issues in Ukraine and abroad.
The idea for the project originated with the Ministry of Informational Policy of Ukraine (MIP) and its implementation is a result of cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine (MFA), the Ukraine Crisis Media Center and Crimean News Agency QHA (QirimHaber Ajansi).
“TOP-5 news about Crimea” will be a tool for delivering the main messages about events in Crimea domestically and internationally and will report about violations in the Russian-occupied peninsula.
"With this project we will honestly report the reality of what is happening in Crimea to the people whose decisions are important not just for Crimea’s future, but for Ukraine overall", - said Advisor to the MIP on Crimean issues Emine Dzheppar.
MFA Ambassador-at-Large Dmytro Kuleba explained how the project is being realized: “We will report the most important news about Crimea to foreign journalists, experts and officials of foreign countries and organizations which dealing with the Ukrainian issue. We will vocally oppose the Russian invaders and will inform the world about what is actually happening in Crimea.”
“TOP-5 news about Crimea” is one of the projects aiming for de-occupation of Crimea during 2016.
