During the meeting P. Klimkin and T.Jagland discussed in particular the issue of ensuring permanent international presence in Crimea for effective monitoring of the human rights situation in Crimea, where an important role should be played by the Council of Europe. They also discussed possible additionall measures to release Nadiya Savchenko, Oleh Sentsov, Mykola Klykh and other Ukrainian citizens illegally detained by Russia.

The parties noted the importance of providing an expert assistance by the Council of Europen in implementing reforms in Ukraine, first of all in reforming judicial system.
