The foreign ministers discussed the bilateral relations, including intensification of the political dialogue, trade and economic cooperation.

During the meeting, attention was focused on creating conditions for enhancing Belgian investments in Ukraine, especially within the context of functioning of Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area between Ukraine and the EU.

The parties stressed the need to strengthen international efforts to release Nadiya Savchenko and other political prisoners illegally held in the Russian Federation.
