During the meeting the sides discussed the current state and prospects of the Ukrainian-Afghan relations. The participants exchanged views on bilateral cooperation in political, trade and economic fields. Special attention was paid to the intensification of political dialogue and the expansion of the Ukrainian-Afghan legal base.

The parties also discussed the issues of bilateral cooperation within international organizations including the UN.
