On December 9, 2016 Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Sergiy Kyslytsya met newly appointed Representative of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Ukraine Marthe Everard.

Both sides noted with appreciation the cooperation between Ukraine and the World health Organization.

Sergiy Kyslytsya emphasized an important role of the WHO Office in Kyiv in addressing the health needs of people in the conflict-affected areas of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions as well as in supporting healthcare reform in Ukraine.

Both sides have agreed to promote further fruitful cooperation.
