The sides discussed the activities of the OSCE related to promotion of women’s rights and exchanged views on cooperation between Ukraine and international organization in this field.

Particular attention was paid to the status of fulfillment of Ukraine’s National Action Plan for the implementation of the UN Security Council Resolution 1325 on Women, Peace and Security until 2020, ratification by Ukraine of the Council of Europe Convention on Preventing and Combating Violence Against Women and Domestic Violence (the Istanbul Convention).

The sides also discussed possible ways of engaging OSCE expertise in implementation of gender equality projects in Ukraine.
