On February 28, 2017, in the framework of the High-Level Segment of the 34^th session of the UN Human Rights Council, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin met with UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussein.

The parties discussed issues of cooperation between Ukraine and the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), in particular with regard to the activities of the Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine, possible engagement of OHCHR technical assistance to certain aspects of the implementation of Minsk Agreements and the prospective of the preparation of a separate detailed OHCHR report on the situation in the occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea envisaged by the UN General Assembly resolution 71/205.

High Commissioner for Human Rights confirmed his intention to visit Ukraine in the nearest future on the invitation of Minister P.Klimkin.
