In Geneva on the margins of the 34th session of the Human Rights Council the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin met with the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Czech Republic Lubomír Zaorálek.
Ministers discussed ways to step up the bilateral political dialogue at the highest level, particularly, the realization of the visit to Ukraine of the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic B.Sobotka, as well as the organization in our country of the meeting in the format of the "Visegrad Four + Ukraine".
The issues of holding of the next meeting of the Joint Ukrainian-Czech commission on economic, industrial, scientific cooperation and of a bilateral Business forum in Kyiv were also considered.
Special attention was paid to the cooperation within the international organizations, including in the UN Human Rights Council, as well as in the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe under the Czech Republic' presidency from May till November this year.
The destructive actions of the Russian Federation in the Donbas were also in the spotlight.
Minister Klimkin urged his colleague to contribute to the soonest finalization of the decision on granting to Ukraine a visa-free regime with the EU.
