The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine is deeply saddened by the news of a series of bomb attacks perpetrated in Baghdad, one of them taking place near the building of the Iraqi Foreign Ministry and causing casualties among its officers.

We condemn the manifestations of terrorism and extremism in any forms and voice our support for the government and people of the friendly Iraq in countering this heinous phenomenon which recognizes no borders.

We extend our sincere condolences to the bereaved families and wish a speedy recovery to the injured.
