During the meeting the sides discussed a wide range of issues of perspectives for further development relations between Ukraine and Hungary. Particular attention was paid to the issues of humanitarian cooperation.

State Secretary Mr. Andriy Zayats highly appreciated humanitarian aid provided by Hungary to Ukraine.

Mr. Miklos Soltesz confirmed unwavering willingness of Hungarian Government to further assist Ukraine while the war in the Eastern regions of our country. He also announced the readiness to host over 700 children from eastern Ukraine in summer camps and additional 20 Ukrainian soldiers on rehabilitation in Hungary in 2017.

They also exchanged views on ensuring national minorities’ rights in Ukraine, the potential and process of reforms implementation and other significant steps of Ukrainian Government within the process of European integration.
