Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine H.E. Mr. Victor Mayko received H.E. Mr. Paul Friedrich von Fuhrherr, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta to Ukraine on the occasion of the opening of the permanent diplomatic mission of the Order of Malta in Ukraine.

During the meeting the Ukrainian side expressed its appreciation of the Order’s international activities in public health, social work, humanitarian aid and disaster relief.

In this regard the Sides discussed topical issues of the bilateral relations and expressed readiness to strengthen cooperation between Ukraine and the Order of Malta, in particular, through the implementation of the bilateral initiatives in social, humanitarian and medical fields.
