On May 10, 2017, the political consultations between the Foreign Ministries of Ukraine and the Republic of South Africa took place in Kyiv.

The Sides discussed the ways of intensification of the full-scale political dialogue, establishment of the interparliamentary cooperation between our countries, improvement of bilateral legal base, enhancement of interaction in the sphere of education, science and technologies, as well as development of cooperation at the level of regions. Special attention in the course of the consultations was paid to the issue of trade and economic relations in the mutually beneficial spheres.

The Ukrainian delegation informed the South African side on the situation in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, Minsk agreements implementation and priorities of Ukraine’s activity in the UN Security Council.
