Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Sergiy Kyslytsya accepted copies of the Credentials of the non-resident Ambassadors of the Republic of Rwanda to Ukraine H.E. Mr. Igor Cesar, of the Republic of Senegal to Ukraine H.E. Mr. Amadou Dabo, of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka P.M.Amza and of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to Ukraine H.E. Mr. Kuma Demeksa Tokon.
During the presentation of Credentials ceremony, the sides discussed the current state and prospective areas of bilateral cooperation with the respective countries, expressed willingness to support active political dialogue and to enhance cooperation in the spheres of mutual interest.
Special attention was paid to international security issues, in particular, that relate to the security situation in the African continent, including the threat of terrorism.
The sides noted the constructive interaction of the countries within the framework of international organizations, especially the UN and OIF, and also stressed the need for joint coordination of efforts in the context of non-permanent membership of Ukraine, Senegal and Ethiopia in the UN Security Council in 2017.
