During the meeting, its participants discussed the possible ways of further enhancement of bilateral cooperation, particularly through the exchange of high-level visits and mutual support in international organizations. The Sides welcomed the launch of renewed Australian-Ukrainian friendship group in Federal Parliament of Australia.

Also discussed was the importance of continued collaboration aimed at bringing to justice the perpetrators, responsible for the downing of Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 in 2014.
