On May 4, 2018 Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Sergiy Kyslytsya received Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary Ambassador of Japan to Ukraine Shigeki Sumi.

The schedule of the bilateral political contacts on different levels, regional security situation and cooperation in the international organizations were among the main issues discussed during the talks.

The Ukrainian side noted the importance of keeping the regular political dialogue for the successful implementation of projects in practical spheres.

The Ambassador of Japan to Ukraine reaffirmed the support of Ukraine on key issues as well as the wish to develop active cooperation with our country.
