On 22 August 2018, the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the Office of the Ambassador of Renewable Energy Ruslana Lyzhychko in the Field of Promotion of Renewable Energy took place at the MFA of Ukraine in Kyiv.

The Memorandum is aimed at facilitating the development of "green" energy in our country, the attraction of foreign investments, the integration of Ukraine into international projects, and the use of new technologies and developments in this area.

The Foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin expressed his conviction that joint efforts of the MFA and Ruslana Lyzhychko as Ambassador of Renewable Energy will contribute to fully tapping the potential of alternative energy in Ukraine, and to expanding international cooperation in the field of “green” economy.

The ceremony was also attended by President of the Energy Watch Group Hans-Josef Fell, who announced plans of the organization to conclude a similar Memorandum with the Office of the Ambassador of Renewable Energy.
