On August 29, 2018, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Sergiy Kyslytsya accepted copies of the credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador of the State of Israel to Ukraine Joel Lion.

Deputy Minister Sergiy Kyslytsya congratulated Mr. Lion on the beginning of the diplomatic mission in Ukraine.

The sides discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation between the two countries. Both diplomats expressed the willingness of their countries to support active political dialogue and to enhance practical cooperation in the spheres of mutual interest.
