On September 6, 2018 Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Sergiy Kyslytsya accepted copies of credentials presented by newly appointed Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Ukraine Hadi Al Hajri.

Deputy Foreign Minister Sergiy Kyslytsya congratulated the Ambassador of Qatar on the beginning of his diplomatic mission in Ukraine.

During the meeting both sides discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation between Ukraine and Qatar. Sergiy Kyslytsya and Hadi Al Hajri highly valued the current state of relations between both states and underlined their willingness to deepen them in various spheres. The sides discussed practical steps towards enhancing the political dialogue, economic and trade cooperation.
