Deputy Foreign Minister Sergiy Kyslytsya meets Ambassador of Japan Shigeki Sumi

On December 28, 2018 Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Mr. Sergiy Kyslytsya hold a meeting with Ambassador of Japan Mr. Shigeki Sumi on the occasion of completion of his diplomatic mission in Ukraine.
The sided discussed bilateral achievements during the period of Mr. Sumi's work in Kyiv, including the first ever visit of the Prime Minister of Japan to Ukraine in 2015, a visit of the President of Ukraine to Japan in 2016, the Year of Japan in Ukraine and the establishment of the JICA Office in Ukraine in 2017.
The diplomats exchanged views on further development of Ukrainian-Japanese relations at bilateral level and in the framework of international organizations.
Deputy Minister Sergiy Kyslytsya congratulated Ambassador Sumi on receiving the Order "For Merit" and thanked him for the years of active support of Ukraine and his solid personal contribution to the strengthening of cooperation between the two countries.
