Minister for Foreign Affairs,Chairperson of Accounting Chamber present initiative to establish INTOSAI task force for economic and financial consequences of armed conflicts

On 5 March 2019 the Hennadii Udovenko Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine hosted the event with the participation of Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin and the Chairperson of the Accounting Chamber of Ukraine Valeriy Patskan, who delivered a presentation for the members of the diplomatic corps, accredited in Ukraine.
Accounting Chamber’s initiative relates to the establishment of a special INTOSAI task force on the economic and financial consequences of armed conflicts.
According to Valeriy Patskan, the establishment of the task force will, in particular, promote the development by audit institutions of international standards for assessing damages and losses of states in situation of armed conflict.
