On May 7, 2019 Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Sergiy Kyslytsya received Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Ukraine Mr. Kwon Ki-chang.

Sides discussed the results of Ukrainian – Korean political consultations, which took place on 24 May 2019 in the frameworks of the working visit of the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine to the Republic of Korea.

Interlocutors focused on the urgent issues of bilateral agenda, ways of enhancing practical cooperation as well as interaction on the international arena.

Separately, sides discussed the expansion of contacts in cultural and humanitarian spheres, particularly between the National Commissions for UNESCO.

Special attention was paid to further development of interaction in consular sphere, including visa regime liberalization for the citizens of Ukraine during their visits to the Republic of Korea.
