On September 26, 2019, in the framework of the 74^th session of the UN General Assembly, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vadym Prystaiko met with Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Peter Szijjarto.

The parties discussed the prospects of the development of political dialogue, economic cooperation, as well as renewal of activities of the Joint Ukrainian-Hungarian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation.

During the meeting, the Ministers agreed to establish contacts at the highest political level in the near future. This will open the way for resolving topical issues of the bilateral agenda.
