On January 14, 2020 Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Sergiy Kyslytsya received Representative of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Ukraine Jaime Nadal.

Sergiy Kyslytsya emphasized an important role of the UNFPA Office in Kyiv in empowering women and youth, addressing reproductive health needs of the most vulnerable population groups and preventing gender-based violence in Ukraine.

Both sides have agreed to promote further fruitful cooperation, particularly in preparation for the all-Ukrainian census, strengthening national demographic policies, gender-mainstreaming as well as ensuring reproductive health.
