The OSCE Youth Summit, organized by the OSCE Ukrainian Chairmanship, will take place in Crimea, Ukraine from 20 July to 1 August 2013. It will bring together young people from across the OSCE participating States and Partners for Co-operation to promote respect for diversity, peaceful development and stability, as well as raise awareness of the work of the OSCE. The Summit will be held under the motto “Our difference is our wealth, our unity is our strength”.
Ukraine has made promoting principles of tolerance and non-discrimination among youth one of the priorities of its 2013 OSCE Chairmanship.
The event will be opened by OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Leonid Kozhara, OSCE Secretary General Lamberto Zannier and other high-level officials from Ukraine.
