Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha: "During our meaningful meeting with Saudi Foreign Minister HRH Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, I shared details about our recent peace efforts and preparations for the next meeting in Geneva.

In the previous years, Saudi Arabia has played a very important role in advancing peace efforts and has hosted a number of successful meetings.

I conveyed Ukraine’s interest in the Kingdom’s continued contribution to the peace process.

I informed my Saudi counterpart about the difficult situation in our energy system following brutal Russian strikes and shared Ukraine’s priority needs.

We also discussed latest regional developments in the Middle East, including the situation in and around Iran".
