On April 22, First Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha accepted copies of credentials from Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to Ukraine Urasa Mongkolnavin.

First Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine expressed gratitude to Thailand for the support of our country in upholding sovereignty and territorial integrity under the Russian aggression, as well as for the humanitarian assistance provided by the Royal Thai Government to Ukraine.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of strengthening and intensifying bilateral relations, primarily in the political and economic spheres.

Andrii Sybiha highly appreciated Thailand’s involvement in the national security advisors’ meetings on the implementation of the Peace Formula and emphasized the significance of the Global Peace Summit for establishing a just and sustainable peace in Ukraine.

The officials discussed the Ukraine's cooperation with ASEAN and Ukraine’s aim to become ASEAN’s Sectoral Dialogue Partner.
