Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha: "While 81st Session of the UN General Assembly is focusing on peace efforts and diplomacy to end the war, Ukraine is once again under heavy Russian attack. Two people have been killed and more than 40 injured in brutal Russian strikes throughout the night and morning. 

Russia has targeted major Ukrainian data centers, seeking to disrupt the flow of information. Rapid alerts about missile and drone threats are essential - they save lives. 

This is critical civilian infrastructure that ensures people can access life-saving information. It is not a military target. It is essential to keeping everyday life functioning.

A college building was also struck in Kyiv while students were on its campus. 

As Russia isn’t achieving its goals on the battlefield, it is seeking new ways to destabilize life in Ukraine and terrorize civilians.  

More sanctions pressure, more missile interceptors are the only way to stop this terror. These attacks must not become the new normal".
