Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha: "Another massive Russian airstrike on Ukraine overnight killed at least three people and injured dozens more. 

Russia targeted Ukrainian cities and communities with 40 cruise and ballistic missiles, as well as about 580 drones.  

Russia’s increased terror against Ukraine and continued systematic provocations against Poland, Romania, Estonia, and other European countries show that Moscow is prepared to further escalate. 

On a regular basis, Ukraine's air defense intercepts the majority of these hundreds of targets with jets, ground systems, mobile fire units, electronic warfare, and unique Ukrainian interceptor drones.  

No other country has the expertise to counter such large-scale combined air attacks. We are prepared to share it with our partners who face increasing Russian threats in their airspace.

We urge our partners to continue to improve Ukrainian air defense by investing in our know-how, coproduction, additional systems, and interceptors. 

It also makes perfect sense to combine Ukrainian and allied air defense systems and protect the European skies over Ukraine and other countries together.  

We also urgently need to take decisive collective action to ramp up sanctions pressure on Russia. Depriving Russia's war machine of resources to mass-produce weapons of terror is a common transatlantic goal. This is a shared necessity."
