Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha: “A terrible tragedy struck Ukraine today: gunmen took hostages and opened fire in a quiet residential neighbourhood in Kyiv.

At least six people were killed, while over a dozen were injured. The gunman was shot.

Condolences to the close ones of those whose lives he had taken and wishes of a speedy recovery to those injured.

Nothing justifies such violence. We thank all countries and people who sincerely share our grief on this tragic day”.
