Acting Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha: "With its latest attacks, Russia destroyed one of the rehabilitation centre's facilities for children and adults with disabilities in the Sumy region. It is yet another horrific reminder why there can be no pauses in protecting life.

This was a place where the most vulnerable recovered, regained confidence, and rebuilt their lives. There was no military target there. Russia's war is so bankrupt that its enemy is no longer Ukraine's army. A rehabilitation centre for children and people with disabilities. This is Putin's definition of a military target.

Together with the MFA Ukraine we have been consistently supporting the Sumy region and this rehabilitation centre as well. Together with our partners, we will continue standing with the people it served and help rebuild what Russia has destroyed.

There can be no pauses in strengthening Ukraine’s air defence. No pauses in increasing pressure on Moscow. And no attempts to normalize or whitewash a state that wages war against children, people with disabilities, and every principle of humanity.

Russia’s cruelty must never become normal. And it must never go unanswered".
