Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha: "I spoke by phone with Baiba Braže to discuss preparations for the EU Foreign Affairs Council on Monday. 

I informed my colleague about my visit to Chile and wider Latin America, the battlefield developments, and Russia’s strikes against our energy infrastructure. 

We discussed peace efforts and our joint work to engage the strong voices of countries in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. 

We both agreed that pressure on the aggressor must increase and no easing of sanctions is acceptable—neither on Russian energy, nor on Russian individuals, nor at global sports and art platforms. 

Peace through strength remains the only realistic strategy.
