Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha: "As part of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s visit to the United Kingdom, I was pleased to hold a bilateral meeting with my British colleague Yvette Cooper and thank her for the hospitality. 

We discussed the outcomes of the President’s important visit to the UK and further steps to put our leaders’ agreements into action. 

I informed Secretary Cooper about the battlefield dynamic, Ukraine’s successful long-range sanctions against Russia, and the achievements of our defense industry. 

We spoke in detail about peace efforts and the role the United Kingdom and Europe more broadly. 

I thanked my colleague for sharing the outcomes of her recent visits to China and India. We discussed their important contributions to advancing peace. 

We also coordinated next steps in increasing pressure on the aggressor.  

I am grateful to Secretary Cooper for reaffirming the UK’s willingness to further ramp up economic pressure on the Russian regime.
