In recent years, Luxembourg's Parliament has adopted a number of crucial decisions in support of Ukraine, from recognising the 1932–1933 Holodomor as a genocide of the Ukrainian people to condemning systematic human rights violations against Crimean Tatars in temporarily occupied Crimea.

I underscored the importance of Ukrainian-Luxembourgish parliamentary cooperation.

We discussed concrete steps: increasing military and energy support for Ukraine ahead of winter, stepping up sanctions pressure on the aggressor, and holding Russia accountable to achieve a lasting peace for Ukraine and all of Europe.
