Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha: "At the Chilean Presidential Inauguration, I was pleased to have a constructive exchange with President of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay Yamandú Orsi and Foreign Minister Mario Lubetkin.  

We spoke about the situation in Ukraine and peace efforts, as well as prospects of strengthening partnership between Ukraine and Uruguay. 

Grateful for Uruguay’s support of Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as fundamental principles of international law.  

I expressed Ukraine’s interest in furthering bilateral dialogue and exchanging visits, conveyed President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s best greetings, and invitation for Mr. President to visit Ukraine."
