Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha: "I was pleased to catch up with Johann Wadephul and reaffirm the Ukrainian-German strategic partnership. 

We exchanged views on peace efforts ahead of the Abu Dhabi meeting. We value Germany's strong voice in favour of peace and a swift end to the war. 

We also discussed the Coalition of the Willing's upcoming activities and events. 

I thanked Germany for helping strengthen our air defence, which saves Ukrainian lives, and for its energy assistance, which helps Ukraine mitigate the consequences of Russian terror. 

Ukraine is ready to further develop a mutually beneficial partnership in defense, energy security, the economy, and recovery. 

We also spoke about the security challenges facing Europe and the strategic decisions needed to restore and maintain the European security order".
