Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha: "Ahead of today’s very important NATO-Ukraine Council meeting, I had an honour of meeting with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte. 

I shared the latest details on our progress in peace efforts and next steps to put an end to the war. 

We discussed steps to strengthen Ukraine’s defense and resilience, as well as to increase pressure on Russia. 

I am grateful to NATO and its member states for their support, including through the very important PURL initiative. Today at the NUC meeting, we will discuss concrete steps to further expand it. 

I also thanked the Secretary General for his personal engagement and leadership in rallying support for our country and people at this difficult time."
