Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha: "I had an insightful and practical conversation with Chair of the Political and Security Committee of the EU Delphine Pronk on the sidelines of the Warsaw Security Forum 2025. We discussed in detail further strengthening of security and defense cooperation between Ukraine and the EU. I thanked for expanding military-technical assistance programs, for instance within the EUAM, and applying sanctions against Russia. We also focused on coordinated joint efforts to counter security threats and Russia’s increased hybrid attacks against transatlantic community. The security of Ukraine and Europe is indivisible. Strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities is in the EU’s best strategic interest. We also shared views on Ukraine’s EU accession process, and ways to overcome politically motivated obstacles on this path."
