EU enlargement is the best investment in European security and stability. It strengthens the entire European project.  

It is critically important to unblock the decision within opening the negotiations Clusters, in particular Cluster 1. I stressed that one country cannot undermine this process. 

We also focused on steps to ramp up pressure on Russia. Proper sanctions enforcement and their further strengthening remain crucial to deprive Russia of the resources for war. 

The next 18th package should deploy the full potential of EU sanction pressure."
